According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, the word “republican” refers to
- noun: someone that favors or supports a republican form of government; or
- adjective: of, relating to, or having the characteristics of a republic.
CFFAD usually uses the adjective form. CFFAD is non-partisan and does not ordinarily refer to the Big-D or Big-R political parties.
